Every day more and more users are benefitting from what Google Calendar has to offer, both in terms of availability as well as customization.

GMinder is a free, open source desktop notification server for Google Calendar that alerts you to events that you have programmed in your Google Calendar account.

You can add any calendars that you want to your account, and personalize them with different colors and names. Clicking the icon on your system tray will identify which events belong to which calendar.

GMinder allows you to adjust the frequency with which events are updated, configure an alarm sound, and modify the colors associated with each status (Future, Soon, Now, and Past).
